Kylie's Birthday

Kylie had a big birthday this year, it being her 8th. She had a month long celebration. She had a great fairy birthday party. We gave everyone a fairy name when they came in the door. They were able to pick one name out of three jars to give them their name (ie moon lily rain). Next they picked a power. It was complete with instructions on how to use that power. It was fun to watch the girls play with the powers as well make them up. We made fairy houses. . .think gingerbread but in a little fairy way. It was a fun party to plan.
The Saturday after Thanksgiving she had the opportunity to get baptized. She was so cute and excited. She was baptized with two cousins and the program had GG giving the opening prayer and Grandma Rice giving a talk. Kylie and Symbria sang "I Am Trying to be Like Jesus" and it was so cute, they did a great job. McKenna played the prelude music. She practiced for 10 minutes but when the baptism was ready to start we had more people than chairs so she had to play for an extra 10 minutes and still did wonderful!! It was a great day to have all the grandparents, great grandparents, Aunts and cousins come for this day.
