We celebrated the 4th like I am sure everyone else in the country. We started by going to Thanksgiving Point where the kids got pony rides and saw all the animals. We then had a good BBQ and watched lots of fireworks and got a little grumpy toward the end of the night.

To get to the falls you take 200 S. in PG all the way up to the mountain where it ends in a parking lot. Follow the trail just past a metal gate. It's pretty good for kids - not too hard. When you get to the top of the big fall, there are some decent drops off the trail, so don't take your little ones unless they mind good or you have enough adult hands to keep hold of them. We're going to try out more trails so I'll let you know about them.
Motherhood leaves so many special moments etched in your mind, alive in your heart, stained on your clothing, written on your walls, spilled on your carpet...(sigh)
I am a mom of 5 very busy and cute (if I do say so myself) kids. I might not always get my make up on in the morning or wear the cutest clothes but I always get lots of hugs and kisses and those are what really matters.
