Christmas Break

We are back from sunny California where we had a wonderful vacation. We started by going to see Wicked and just loved it. McKenna and Kylie went and the younger three stayed with a babysitter. We had so much fun that we played the CD on our 12 hour drive home. Conner keeps commenting that he wants to go to see Wicked.

The men took the kids to the park on Christmas Eve so they could collect some pinecones for our Christmas Eve tree. While they were there they fed the ducks (or seagulls) and watched the fish in the stream. Marc thinks we need to send the picture on the right to "Cingular" to put in their bar adds.

Christmas day was a little different for us because we spent some time at the beach. It was had imagining it being Christmas when my kids had their shoes off wading in the water and collecting sea shells in the sand. McKenna came away with a few really nice shells that we haven't been able to find since our drive home but I am sure they will show up *wink*. We were all enjoying the warm weather and gorgeous views when Kamryn took a header into the water and came up on the beach cold. It only took a few more minutes for Conner to do the same thing and we were headed home with two naked bodies.

We made a stop at Disneyland where we met the princesses and learned how to dance like a princess and prince. We also met Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie. Conner and Kelsey were even able to ride some of the bigger rides and even though Kelsey was scared at first she enjoyed herself in the end. We actually had to physically make her ride some of the rides like Snow White and Alice in Wonderland.

We then took a trip to San Diego where we went to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo.
