Team Samurai Tournament

Conner had his first Karate Tournament last night. I didn't realize it was our nightly activity. We started at 5 pm and the tournament was over just before 8. The girls had enough karate by that time.
He has been practicing on Saturdays for this night and he competed in the sparring division. He was paired up for the first round and lost. He had a few minutes break and won the next 3 divisions. The last round was for first and second place. He walked away with second. He was beaming!! I was so excited for him and that he did so well considering this was his first tournament.



He just might bite his tongue off one of these times. He can NOT keep it in his mouth.
We are off to do Grappling tonight...
