Here is a cute cartoon on the particulars of the race.We started out with a little break down but Issac checked under the hood and got it started again we were good to go with no other problems.
Our start time was 5:00 am so we woke up super early and headed for the starting line at 4:00 am. We started up in Logan and it was COLD. Luckily Ayisha was our first runner and she was ready to go.
My first leg was up Avon Pass. It was hot and dusty!
Towards the end I started to lose my steam but Ayisha ran down to pace me to the van.
Our time in the van was spent talking, eating, trying to sleep, cheer on our runners and more talking.
Ready for my second leg in the heat of the day.
My last leg was in the middle of the night. My body is really used to sleeping at 3 am, not running but I finished.
And then we were done while van 2 finished the race. We took a scenic route.
