We have enjoyed the nice spring weather that has been mixed among the really cold, stormy, snowy days. We had an early Easter egg hunt on Sunday. All the kids found eggs filled with candy which they emptied into bags and they hid the eggs again and played all over again.
Kamryn and Kelsey thought it would be fun to get into old swimming suits and blow up water balloons. Knowing it was freezing outside with a few inches of snow on the ground that morning I knew they wouldn't stay out for very long. Notice all the snow on the mountains. Not long after Marc took this picture they came in for warm baths.
We spent a Saturday afternoon up the canyon. Our nice walk turned into an urgent search for a bathroom and when one wasn't found a tree made a nice stop. We then continued our nice spring day hike. We stopped to watch a few otters swimming.
It was a little chilly and Conner left his jacket in the garage so I let him use my since we did go high enough to find snow.
McKenna re broke her arm this weekend and is trying to be a good sport about wearing her brace again!!
The kids tried to skip rocks and then just ended up throwing rocks into the river.

Marc put the trampoline up after it being put away all winter and it is just like a new toy.
When McKenna is in a good mood she takes the kids outside and while on the tree swing she has them close their eyes and takes them on a ride. She supplies the commentary and swing while they supply the imagination. They love love love when she comes out that they line up for a ride.
